thanks! For an upgrade from 4.99, I would recommend going directly to NaviServer 5.1.1. Since this upgrade already requires the usual testing of the application, configuration, and modules, there is little benefit in stopping at 5.0.6. Version 5.1.1 is the technically preferred target and includes the latest improvements and fixes.
The main audience for 5.0.6 is very conservative installations already running 5.0.5 that want only the most essential fixes while minimizing the scope of change. Such installations might reasonably choose 5.0.6 as an interim step.
For a new migration from 4.99, however, 5.1.1 is the better choice.
